シャンブレー生地とは、経(タテ)に色糸、緯(ヨコ)に白糸(または経糸と違う色糸)を使用した平織織物で、布面の独特な霜降りの風合いがでます。この風合いは糸染め織物でなくては出来ないものです。天然繊維であるコットンの味が充分発揮される織り方なんです。
そしてSouth West Seriesで使用しているシャンブレー生地はアメリカ製の70～80年代のデットストックの生地を使用していますので質感も最高です。

As you might know the chambray fabric is the plain weave with the color yarn (vertical) & white yarn (horizontal) crossing makes like marbling look. this is the best way to be express the quality of the natural cotton fabrics. our South west chambray is made out from 70's real dead stock so you will realize the difference once you hold it !
